Supporting Cooley Dickenson's Nurses During Nurse Appreciation Week

For the second consecutive year, we’ve celebrated and honored Cooley Dickinson’s nurses during National Nurses Week.

This year, we provided ceramic mugs with a custom Nurse Strong design for that perfect little caffeine pick-me-up.

On top of that, we were also able to provide the entire nurse staff with a boxed lunch ordered from Hamel’s creative catering in Holyoke.

Nurses have been through so much, especially during these past few years. My team and I are immensely grateful for what nurses do every day and were happy to be able to show our appreciation with some delicious food.

We are fortunate to have Cooley Dickinson Hospital here in our community and we wanted to show our appreciation. And what a perfect time to say thank you during Nurses Week.

Spreading The Wealth

Earlier this year, a friend shared with Carla Cosenzi an online story of a Southwick man battling stage IV glioblastoma, the same brain cancer that claimed the life of Cosenzi’s father.

“I immediately was so touched and knew the situation he and his family were up against,” said Cosenzi. Cosenzi reached out to the family on their GoFundMe.org fundraising page and made a $2,000 donation.

Honoring Westfield boy who helped save family from fire

It was a true honor to surprise the Masso family and honor them with the Western Mass News Surprise Squad!

At just 11 years old, David Masso sprung into action as the flames spread. When the Western Mass News Surprise Squad and the Hyundai Dealers of Western Massachusetts learned of his actions and loss, we knew we had to pay him a visit.

2021 Tom Cosenzi Scholarship Recognition Breakfast

Yesterday was our 2021 Tom Cosenzi Scholarship recognition breakfast at Esselon Cafe in Hadley. Congratulations to Jack Kelley of Hopkins Academy, Raechel Parent of Northampton High School, and Anthony Azzaro of Northampton High School! Happy Nurse Appreciation Week! Nurses are by our sides during life’s most challenging times. THANK YOU for going above and beyond to keep us safe and healthy! This week of appreciation isn’t nearly enough for all you do, and have done over this unprecedented year. But to show TommyCar Auto Group’s immense appreciation, I handed out candy-filled water bottles with a message of appreciation to nurses at Cooley Dickinson Hospital. ! We hoped this could put a smile on some faces. I am so grateful for our Cooley nurses!
